How Much Time Do I have To File a Medical Malpractice Claim?

The law in New York State generally requires that a claim for medical malpractice be brought within two years and six months, but a claim against a municipal hospital must be filed within 90 days.

It is critical that you consult with an attorney as soon as possible if you believe that you or someone you know are the victim of medical malpractice.  Call us at Worby Groner Edelman immediately so we can answer any questions you have.  Remember, there is never a fee unless we are successful!
