Statute of Limitations

The law imposes specific deadlines to file a claim or lawsuit as a result of any type of accident.  This deadline, typically called a Statute of Limitations, can vary from as little as 90 days for a claim against a municipality to 2 years and 6 months for a medical malpractice case, to 3 years for a general negligence claim such as a car accident or fall down accident.  Therefore, it is critical that you consult with a competent attorney experienced in these areas without significant delay.  Here at Worby Groner Edelman, we are happy to answer any question you have if you or anyone you know is ever injured as a result of someone's negligence.  Remember, there is never a fee unless we are successful!
